Yellow Creek Falls
Yellow Creek Falls, nestled in the Nantahala National Forest near Robbinsville and Lake Santeetlah, is a serene 50-foot waterfall accessible via a gentle third-of-a-mile hike. The well-marked trail, though brief, features some uphill sections with roots and rocks, making it moderately challenging. Along the path, hikers are treated to picturesque cascades and the soothing sounds of the creek. At the falls, a tranquil pool invites visitors to wade and relax, making it an ideal spot for a refreshing summer dip. A small parking area is available near the trailhead, accommodating approximately six vehicles.
