Rising to 5,920 feet, this is the highest grassy bald in the Great Smoky Mountains. Located near Clingmans Dome, the trail isn’t too strenuous but does have some steady climbs and rocky sections. The best part? You’ll get breathtaking views without the heavy crowds of other Smokies hikes. (4 miles round trip)
